Comparing data

Some anomalies result from poor distribution of elements within a single set (for example, granting of permissions for staff members working within a single department). Comparisons between elements allow licensees:

  • to rationalise existing data by removing duplications;
  • to check mutual exclusions in order to prevent infringements (of permissions in particular);
  • to check the compatibility of permissions granted;
  • to begin to identify 'referents' that can be used as a basis for systematic observation.

Kleverware IAG helps to identify more complex anomalies that reveal the need to further structure types of elements, for example, the need to structure the allocation of permissions around relevant job profiles to avoid them being broken up.

Kleverware IAG also allows licensees to check whether it is suitable to create a new element. The impact of any new element can be observed prior to it being created in real life to avoid interfering with any ongoing rationalisation.
